This adapter enables a standard twin plug headset to be used in Airbus aircraft and some of the newer XLR-5 equipped Boeings.

NB When using this adapter, standard ANR headsets will not accept aircraft power. The Telex Airman 8 does not use pin 5 of the XLR connector for power so will be powered when using this adapter.
