Supply of Goods
It may be, that due to circumstances beyond our control, Pilot are not able to guarantee the supply of goods. The acknowledgment generated to a customer at the time an order is placed is confirmation only of the details given by the customer and is not an acceptance of the order. Prices may change at any time or goods may not currently be available. Should this be the case Pilot will contact the customer by e-mail or telephone within 5 working days to apprise them of the situation and give them the option to cancel the order.

Order Acknowledgement
An order placed on the website will be acknowledged as received through an 'Order Acknowledgement' sent to your e-mail address. The order becomes confirmed at the point of despatch. If there are any problems with your order, then you will be contacted directly.

Quality of Goods/Fitness for Purpose
Pilot makes every effort to ensure that products advertised on the site are of a high quality. In the event that goods received are found not to be of merchantable quality or fit for the purpose described by the manufacturers they may be returned and a replacement (if requested and available) will be sent otherwise we will refund your monies in full

Returns Procedures and refunds

Faulty Goods:
Please return faulty goods to us Pilot Communications, Unit C Ashgrove Ind Park, Heath Place, Bognor Regis, West Sussex, PO22 9SL for repair or replacement within the warranty period.
Exchanges will be provided at our discretion and will be replaced with the same item wherever possible

Unwanted Items:
If you decide the item you have received is unwanted it can be returned within 30 days providing it has NOT been opened or used in any way and is in its original packaging.
Please note: When returning goods to us it is the customers duty to ensure the goods are sent on an insured service. Pilot are not liable for lost parcels when returned to us. No refund can be given unless we receive your returned goods.

Delivery Methods & Charges
Pilot only charge per order and not per product ordered.

Customs & Duty Charges
Pilot is not responsible for Customs or Duty charges for orders delivered outside of the UK


Loss or damage
If goods are found to have been damaged in transit then they may be returned and a replacement, if requested and if available, will be dispatched. If no replacement is available then monies will be refunded in full. Pilot must be informed within 7 days of receipt by either e-mail or by telephone on 01243 870999 with confirmation in writing there-after. It is in your own interests to check the delivery immediately and notify Pilot of any problems. 

Non Delivery
Claims for missing items or the non delivery of complete orders must be made within 10 days of the dispatch date. All trackable orders will have a P.O.D. signature showing the delivery date and who signed for it. P.O.Ds are supplied by the carrier and elapse after 10 days. Therefore claims for non delivery after 10 days from the date of dispatch have elapsed cannot be accepted.

Data Protection Act
The information requested on this site may be used by Pilot to confirm, update and enhance our customer records. Your DATA will never be passed onto any 3rd party requests. Information may also be disclosed and used for fraud detection purposes.

Title of goods does not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid for in full. The responsibility and risk in the Goods shall pass to the buyer at the point of delivery and Pilot shall have no responsibility in respect of the safety of the goods thereafter. 

All our store prices are VAT inclusive.

For export orders it is the responsibility of the customer to make sure he/she is aware of any duty charges that may be made by the country of origin on delivery. Pilot are not liable for any duty charges that may be incurred. If you are buying for business outside of the EC and have a registered VAT number we can supply on business terms without VAT. This cannot be done on this website.

Security of Credit Card Payment Options
At the point where you confirm and request the purchase by pressing the 'send order' button you will be transferred to a 'SSL' secure sockets server. Any details that are received by this server will be encrypted by 1028 bit technology before being e-mailed to Pilot.  You will know when you are sending secure information as the top bar in your browser will read "https: the 's' standing for secure. Your browser may also indicate this by showing an unbroken key or locked padlock in the bottom corner.

All contracts by Pilot for the sale of the goods shall be deemed in all respects to be contracts made, performed and contracted according to English Law.
